Alessandro Becchi “Toscanolla” dining chairs for Giovannetti, ash and straw, Italy, 1970, set of six.
This rare “Toscanolla” dining chair was designed by Becchi for Giovannetti in 1970. Its cone-shaped legs create a bulky, solid wooden structure, but still sophisticated thanks to the curved straw backrest. A unique and refined design that recalls iconic comfortable Italian country chairs, such as the Vico Magistretti “Carimate”. Each chair is marked with the designer and manufacturer logo on the back.
