Vittorio Valabrega dining table for Valabrega, wood, Italy, 1940
Elegant dining table designed by Vittorio Valabrega and produced in Italy in the 1940s. The piece features a beautifully figured walnut structure with sculptural pedestal legs and a refined beveled top with dark glass insert.
The base is defined by two solid tapered supports resting on rounded plinth feet, giving the table a strong architectural character while maintaining balanced proportions. The warm walnut grain enhances the sculptural quality of the form and highlights the craftsmanship typical of Valabrega’s production.
The soft curves of the base and the rounded edges of the frame create a harmonious silhouette, characteristic of Italian furniture from the late Art Deco and early modern period.
